Ruppert Landscape has updated its uniform standards and will now require all field personnel in the company’s landscape management division to wear a nametag. The nametag, which will be worn in the safety vest pocket, will include the employee’s name, title and years of service. Field personnel at all 15 branches should be equipped within the month. “In today’s fast-paced society, there’s a tendency to want to commoditize landscape service providers,” said Tom Barry, landscape management division vice president. “With this uniform enhancement, we hope to put our customers on a first-name basis with the people maintaining their properties, distinguishing our employees as hard-working individuals and thereby distinguishing our company as a high-quality, dedicated service provider.”
Ditch Witch welcomed more than 300 customers to an exclusive demo event at its headquarters in Perry, Okla., March 28-29. The two-day Orange Iron Experience included an equipment program that gave attendees a hands-on demonstration of new Ditch Witch products, like the Subsite Electronics and Hammerhead. They also got a full tour of the Ditch Witch manufacturing facility.
Dixie Chopper partnered with retired NASCAR driver Tony Stewart, who is a native of Indiana, where Dixie Chopper’s headquarters is located. The company said Stewart has been a Dixie user for years. In addition to the testimonial below, Stewart also appears in the company’s latest commercial. Dixie Chopper’s last big-name spokesman was Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty.
